My Review
Just got done with this one and what a read!
Alice, looking for comfort while her life falls apart, connects with an old friend, Joanna in the hopes of reestablishing their friendship, only there’s a lot of layers there that need to be peeled away first.
Although, I enjoyed it, I went in thinking it was way different than what it was. As I read and the story unfolded it was easy to see what was happening and there wasn’t much of a surprise with any of the twists. That being said, it was well written, thought out, and came together really well. I wish Alice had a little more backbone and was able to make the tough decisions herself, but some people are followers, sheep, while others are leaders or wolves.
