September Reset: Week Two Reflections

The first two weeks of September have been a soft unraveling — peeling away the noise, clearing the clutter, and making space for something quieter, more intentional. When I set out on this 30-day reset, it wasn’t about reinventing myself overnight. It was about creating rituals that feel nourishing, grounding, and aligned with the season of change we’re in.

Now that I’m stepping into week two, here’s what’s been working for me — and how you can join in if you’ve been craving your own reset.

🧘 Yoga Every Morning & Every Night

Even if it’s just 15 minutes, rolling out my mat each day has become a grounding practice. The point isn’t perfect poses; it’s showing up for myself before I show up for the world. My body feels stronger, but more than that, my mind feels clearer.

Tip for you: Start small. Commit to a 10-minute flow, stretch, or even mindful breathing. The consistency matters more than the length.

📓 Journaling & Clarity

I’ve been journaling daily — not pages and pages, just a few intentional lines. Gratitude, feelings, or even just one thing I want to release. It’s helped me process emotions and bring awareness to the patterns I want to shift.

Tip for you: Keep your journal on your nightstand. Before bed, write one line about your day and one line about what you want to carry into tomorrow.

💧 Hydration & Nourishment

Drinking more water and focusing on whole, colorful meals has been transformational. It’s less about rules and more about asking: How can I nourish myself today? My skin feels brighter, and my energy is more steady.

Tip for you: Upgrade your water ritual. Add lemon, cucumber, or even a splash of chlorophyll to make hydration feel like self-care.

📱 Social Media Detox

I promised myself no posting selfies this month. The pause has been powerful — instead of performing life, I’ve been living it. Watching sunsets, cooking meals, sitting with myself. It’s given me perspective on what I want to share when I do return.

I did have a fun night out dancing with the ladies and wanted to post to savor the moment. Remember that sometimes when you slip on a goal it doesn’t have to derail the plan. You’re human and we need a break every once in a while, plus sometimes there’s just a good reason to stray from the path.

Tip for you: Take 24 hours off social media. Notice how much space opens up in your mind and what naturally flows in to fill it.

🌙 What I’ve Learned So Far

Resets aren’t about rigid discipline — they’re about remembering. Remembering who you are without the distractions. Remembering what feels good in your body. Remembering that even small, consistent acts of care can create big shifts.

If you’ve been craving a reset, consider this your invitation. It doesn’t have to look like mine. Maybe it’s a nightly walk, a tech-free morning, or a commitment to drink more water. Whatever it is, give yourself permission to reset — and to savor the softness that comes with it.
